Over 13,300 hours of training including induction programmes were undertaken in 2023.

There are both on-site activities and programmes run externally, targeted to improve the skills and knowledge of our employees in their areas of specialism.

Serabi operates strict equal opportunities programmes and actively works to increase the diversity of its workforce.

Health and well-being of our staff is paramount. Medical facilities exist at all sites and arrangements are in place with local clinics and hospitals for any critical illness or injury. Educational and support programmes include White January, dealing with mental health, World Health Day, Blue November for prostate and other male cancer, Pink October, for breast and other female cancer awareness and the Fight against Smoking. Flu and Covid vaccination programmes are supported on site to facilitate access to such medicines for staff and local communities.

A new canteen was established in 2023, as part of regular improvements to staff facilities including accommodation and other leisure facilities.
