Operations

Serabi operates the Palito Mining Complex and the Coringa Project, in the Tapajós region of the State of Para.  The Tapajós region is the world’s third largest alluvial gold field.

  • Tapajós is an area of ~100,000km2 and is located ~1,300km southwest of Belem, the capital of Para.
    • 84,000ha of exploration tenements held by Serabi.
  • Mining friendly and second largest mining state in Brazil.
  • Very little systematic exploration to date but now attracting interest from major mining companies. Serabi had an exploration alliance with Vale in the region in 2023.
  • Estimated 30Moz of gold mined by artisanal miners since 1970’s from mostly alluvial and surface weathered bedrock deposits.
  • Region is highly prospective for gold, iron ore, copper, and nickel deposits.
  • Significant potential for new discoveries.  Only 7Moz of hard rock resources currently defined.

Serabi is a pioneer in the Tapajós and remains the first and only hard rock miner in this highly prospective region.
